Responsibilities

To expand the reach and impact of Florida Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders for Progress (FLAAPP) to thousands of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Floridians across the state, the digital organizer will:

  • Develop a communications plan for FLAAPP to engage our AAPI Floridian community and tell our stories to a wider audience

  • Take creative lead in creating and managing content on FLAAPP’s website and social media accounts, in line with FLAAPP’s branding guidelines
  • Draft and design culturally-competent content that appeals to Floridian AAPIs to foster meaningful engagement with our community
  • Write and distribute FLAAPP’s monthly e-newsletter
  • Update FLAAPP website with upcoming events, blog posts, and pertinent voter information
  • Collaborate with FLAAPP coalition partners on content that mutually supports our messaging, issues, and meets our online audience
