关于FLAAPP

资格和要求

- Experience with writing press releases and building relationships with local media
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, weaving together narrative and statistics to convey messages about policy and politics in approachable ways
- Ability to synthesize research and data from multiple sources (i.e. quantitative polls, qualitative focus groups, Census data, etc.) into reports that are understandable by a wide range of audience members

职责

- Develop a communications plan for FLAAPP to engage our AAPI Floridian community and tell our stories to a wider audience
- Compile and organize data related to the AAPI community in Florida and nationally into quarterly reports that can then be implemented on the ground in Get-Out-the-Vote (GOTV) organizing for the statewide primary and general elections
- Connect with local journalists, serving the AAPI community and in the major metro areas throughout the state that FLAAPP engages voters in, to share stories, perspectives, and data about our community to a wider audience

- Draft and design culturally-competent content that appeals to Floridian AAPIs to foster meaningful engagement with our community
